Fidelity Pension Managers Ltd has emerged the winner of the Award of Excellence in Pension Administration in the State of Osun. The award which was received during the recently concluded 2018 National Productivity Day and State of Osun Merit Awards was presented by Dr. Festus Oyebade Olowogboyega, Head of the State Civil Service Commission.

According to Mr. Chiedu Ejeckam, Head, High Networth Individuals and Large Corporates, who received the award on behalf of the organization, the accolade is a demonstration of the effective customer-centric approach of Fidelity Pension Managers as well as its investment in its customers.

In a related development, Fidelity Pension Managers in collaboration with the Head of Service in Osun, recently held series of events on maximizing workers’ benefits in Osogbo, Osun to increase awareness on the importance of retirement planning.

Representing the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Fidelity Pension Managers, Mr. Chiedu Ejeckam presented a paper titled “Contributory Pension Scheme for the Benefit of all”. He stated that the essence of the paper was to enable the workers appreciate the benefits of retirement planning and how their pension funds are being invested.

Dr. Festus Oyebade Olowogboyega, thanked Fidelity Pension Managers for the support in educating the workers in the state on their retirement benefits and the advantages of Contributory Pension Scheme. He also encouraged other Pension Fund Administrators to emulate the actions of Fidelity Pension Managers.

Mr. Olumuyiwa Afolabi, Ag. Group Head, Operations of Fidelity Pension Managers, spoke on the importance of early retirement planning in building a long-term future. He stated that Fidelity Pension Managers makes pension services easy and accessible to their clients consequently, making the clients retire happily.

The Regional Coordinator, South West of Fidelity Pension Managers Mr. Olalekan Idowu, also gave a presentation which emphasised retiree documentation, life after service and the importance of Next-of-Kin/Beneficiaries.

Also in attendance were representatives from the office of the Head of Service, permanent secretaries and directors in the state civil service, labour union leaders and representatives of other government bodies.
